Munster is located in the North Township of Lake County, Indiana. With an estimated population of 22,825, the town is approximately 30 miles southeast of the Chicago Loop, making a commute to work or a day trip to the city around 35 minutes.
Munster continues to grow and expand its downtown area as well. It is home to many parks and recreational facilities, three lakes, eleven miles of bike paths, and a nine-hole golf course and driving range. Munster is also the home of Three Floyd’s Brewing Company, which has gained recreational cult status since its opening back in 2000. During the summer months, wine lovers can also look forward to The Great Escape – a wine, art and music festival – every summer at Centennial Park.
