Our experience with Steiner Homes was nothing short of fantastic. Since this was our first time building a home, we had a tremendous amount of questions. As with any major purchase, we did our research and talked to many local builders. None of them were as welcoming, kind and professional as Dave Gring and the Steiner team. We were immediately hooked when we saw our first Steiner model home. Molded headers on every door and window, larger baseboard trim, gorgeous master bathroom tiling, and the signature Steiner front elevations are just a few of the amenities that attracted us.
Dave took the time to explain every aspect of the build (along with every cost) and made us feel very comfortable with the decision we were making. Once we had signed our contract and construction on our home began, we began making choices about the how we really wanted our house to look. This overwhelming task would have been next to impossible without Jessica’s help. Jessica was patient when we changed our minds, and always got answers for our questions. There are some builders who limit the choices you have concerning your home. Steiner Homes is not one of them! We were able to fully customize every aspect of our home. In fact after considering where we wanted some things on our main level, Adam Steiner redrew our floor plan to meet our needs which resulted in the birth of the Emma 2100!
After our choices were made, we met Tom, our project manager. Tom was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were under a bit of a time crunch, and Tom and his building team were able to make it happen for us. He was patient, understanding and honest throughout the entire process. Tom was in constant contact with us throughout the remainder of the construction process, and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted every step of the way.
Dan, Val and the Steiner family have really made our dream a reality. Many of our friends have built or are building homes now, and often complain of the stress of building a home. We honestly can’t relate. Our experience was nearly stress free because our Steiner team kept us informed, answered our questions, and most importantly, did everything they said they would. We highly recommend Steiner Homes!

My wife and I looked for houses for several years. We could never quite find the builder that offered the value we were expecting. Everyone had cheap trim packages, gouged for upgrades, or were not willing to customize their models. In fact, several builders did not even have models of the houses that we were looking for. Needless to say, this process left us frustrated. We were at the point where general contracting our own home was the only solution where we could find the value we were looking for. By chance I happened across Steiner Home’s web site. Steiner Home’s had several floor plan’s with beautiful trim standard. Hmmm. We decide to take a look. First I just went to see one of their models. After seeing it, I went online and looked through their floor plans again. I found one that I really liked. It had all the attributes that my wife and I were looking for in a house. A quick call and my wife and I were meeting with the owner, Dan Steiner at the model of the actual house we wanted to see. My wife and I were very particular and had seen a lot of houses. We knew exactly what we wanted. Steiner homes customized that model to meet exactly what we wanted. The part that was hard to believe is that they only charged for actual upgrades and didn’t gouge us at all. We were sold. We moved in November 2007 and Steiner did not quit at that point. They still take care of anything that comes up and have been a great builder to work with. I would highly recommend Steiner homes to any of my friends or family. Our experience with Steiner Homes was wonderful. From the very begining to the very end all of our own personal needs for our home were met. The staff is very friendly and willing to work with your schedule. From the sales team to the building team, Steiner Homes is a family. Their choices for a home were great, we received many things that were upgrades with other builders that were standard with Steiner Homes. Just wanted to drop a quick note to let the Steiner family know how grateful we are to of had them build our house. From the planning process with Dave Gring to the final closing day with Valerie Steiner, the whole process was delightful and easy. When we were deciding whether to build a house or not, we were told by all of our friends and family the headaches we would face. They couldn’t have been more wrong. The whole process was effortless. You have so many options when building a new house, with options of what builder to choose, what lot to pick, what plan to pick, etc.….. The Steiner team made it so easy to build with them. If I ever had to do it again I would choose Steiner without a second thought.

Thank you so very much for building our beautiful new home. We are so thrilled to be getting settled in and truly making it our own. Every day there is something new to appreciate and outright love and for that we are beyond thankful.The one word that we would use to describe our home is special. Everything about it feels that way….the beautiful pillars…the oversized moldings and trim…the wide planked, hand-scraped wood floors…the tall ceilings in every part of the house…the oversized windows…the list goes on and on. And the best part…most were standard features!
Having built our last home and not being entirely thrilled with the process, we were hesitant to do so again. But after touring another Steiner home and meeting with Dave and Adam, our concerns were put to rest. Before a paper was signed or a dollar exchanged, both worked diligently to make certain we were getting exactly what we wanted and needed. We felt confident making decisions about the design of our home with Jessica. And we were extremely grateful to have Courtney making sure there were no budgetary surprises along the way! Working with Tom was amazing. He was responsive and completely on top of everything.
Without a doubt, we would be thrilled to work with Steiner Homes again. But why would we need to? We can’t imagine wanting anything more.

We have been in our dream home for six months thanks to Steiner builders. From the moment we stepped into the Steiner model and met Dan, we knew this was the builder for us. Working with Adam to reconfigure the floor plan resulted in the ideal setting for us. Having the utility room relocated next to the bedroom was exactly what we wanted. The whole crew at Steiner was extremely helpful in helping us to create our own unique home. What would we have done without Dave’s patience, Jessica’s style sense, and Ryan’s knowledge of how to build our home? If something needed to be changed, Steiner came through for us.
